After four years of relative public silence, Guns n' Roses frontman Axl Rose resurfaced early Wednesday morning when he was arrested in a Phoenix airport for disorderly conduct. Details of the arrest were unavailable early Wednesday afternoon, but the Phoenix sheriff's department confirmed to MTV News that Rose was arrested at the Sky Harbor Airport at approximately 12:45 a.m. on Wednesday by the Phoenix Police Department, and was released at 2 a.m. Initial reports were that Rose was apprehended after a "scuffle," but neither the sheriff's department nor Rose's record label, Geffen Records, could confirm any details of the arrest. It's worth noting that disorderly conduct is a relatively minor misdemeanor charge which usually results in a fine upon conviction. Rose saw his share of much more serious charges in his band's wilder days, but the singer has seemingly checked out of public life for the last four years. With exception of the occasional appearance among the crowd at a concert (like Radiohead's Los Angeles show last year), Rose has kept a remarkably low profile. source: MTV-News
