GN'R at Lollapalooza? Or maybe not?

Last week, a report in the online magazine Rollingstone.com suggested that management contacts for '80s metal rockers Guns 'N Roses were recently approached by William Morris about joining the tour.

A spokesperson for William Morris would not confirm any of the acts being considered for the tour, however. "We've put out a number of offers, but nothing is confirmed at this point," said Germaine Lathouwers, a spokesperson for Grosslight. Lathouwers would not comment on speculation concerning Guns 'N Roses.

Gardner, however, said "Guns 'N Roses was totally news to me. It's so out of the blue I wouldn't even have a clue." Guns 'N Roses management could not be reached for comment by press time.
