This summer of 1998 I went racing, well it wasn't actually a race, more like a 300 kilometer tour around Lake Vättern in southern Sweden.
There were more than 14000 bikers riding Vätternrundan, I can recommend it, it was great fun.
I used my Bikini of course, If you want to look at the log file I got when I hot synced, here it is, the comma separated file logfile (.csv)
After some work in Excel, I produced an some graphs. You can download the Excel file here. If you just want to look at the graphs, here is the HTML version. You can also compare my logfiles with the course profile around Vättern
The Bicycle log is a "comma separated variable" text file, usually called a .CSV file. The first line contains configuration parameters, They will be described in a later release.
The Next following lines contain:
"timestamp in 1/100'th second ticks" , "The number of wheelturns since last Timestamp."
0,1,0,0,0,210,0,0,2,6,56,140,0,20,0,20,0,4,147,224,0,40,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,0,1007154,1, <-- The configuration line. (210 is wheel circumference in cm.)
1009078,11, <-- Timestamp (1009078) in 1/100 'th seconds, and 11 wheelturns since last timestamp.
The Bikelog.csv can be imported into many spreadsheet programs, such as Microsft Excel and from there you can process it.
There is a helper Excel File (FormatBikelog.xls) in the Zip file. It contains an Excel Macro that can import a Bikelog, Calculate current speed and draw a graph.
