Strategy:

In the 1st round declare Cairhien as Rand’s other allegiance, then replace him with Lord Dragon. Roll Lord Dragon’s dice to get Thom out (you may have to reduce Pattern). Play Thom and Pull of the Ta’veren. Next turn, if the Villain is not participating in the Pattern, go ahead an put Thom up there because he can still use his effect text from the battlefield and he’s likely to gain you an easy Pattern. Rotate Pull of the Ta’veren to get Mat, play him with Lord Dragon’s roll, then discard Pull of the Ta’veren to get Mat The Gambler and replace Mat with him. Now you’re ready to rock! Use Rand and Mat to get the Cairhien characters/troops out and use Thom’s ability as often as possible.

If you get a Lucky Find then use it to pull a Player Advantage so you can get Inner Strength out as soon as possible. This card will allow Thom to use his ability after only rolling 2 Intrigue! You’ll be forcing your opponent to discard a card every turn at that rate. Add that to the Sabotages, Knowledge is Power, and War of Attrition and your opponent should have more cards in his discard pile than his hand, deck and playing field combined! There’s plenty of Intrigue in this deck to help you play those cards and also help you win the Assasination Attempts to get rid of pesky characters like Barthanes or Liandrin.

With a ton of deck/hand destruction, damage from the Al’cair’raheinalen Advantage, and a bunch of tough characters/troops this deck should have your opponent wishing he’d stayed home.
