Strategy

This deck is by no means easy to play. But, if played properly, can be very strong against all types of decks. This deck involves lots of Intrigue. The main focus of this is denying the opponent cards, while drawing more your self. This is accomplished the combo of Gather Support and Sabotage. When you play the Gather Support Challenge, you choose Intrigue. Depending how much you win the challenge by, you add that much Intrigue into your pool the following Action Round. The idea is to set up for a large Sabotage, making the opponent discard many cards from his hand. You can also use Gather Support to fuel a large Distractions, greatly weakening the opponents troops. You can also use Knowledge is Power to discard a card off the top of the opponents deck, further disrupting his strategy. Also, if anyone is giving you problems with Reinforcment, a well timed Harassment could spell doom for an opponent who spreads his forces thin, thinking he can reinforce them. The recruiting engine of this deck is powerful as well. Berelain with Way of the Leaf rolls 5 politics every turn which have all allegiences, which will help recruit all the Andorans. You can also get rid of an annoying character with Assasination Attempt, as you have plenty of Intrigue people in which to fight. The only reason why Learning from the Past is in is too get out Future Returns, which again, combined with Gather Support, can be a formidable card drawing engine. You main pattern will come from the Pattern Challenge and Political Manuvering. Finally, try to keep control of the Andor Contested Advantage so you can play Caemlyn, allowing you politics dice to be utilized in the final battle.
