Today we have played Dooks which is a links course. It was tough (rain and strong winds), we played bad, but Bo had a good time and beat us again.
Patrik won "Nearest to the pin" and did a beautiful birdie on an impossible green. The only thing he did right today.
Bo won a "Longest Fairway Drive Competition", via a fence and a tree and a wall. He was actually the only one to hit the fairway.

Thomas handed over the looser cap to Anders Nyberg after scoring
26 points. The course (Ballybunion) was the best we ever experienced.
Shorty won the "Longest Fairway Drive Competition" with 50 cm over Ingvar, and
Anders Falk won "Nearest Pin" (he was 8.99 m from the flag, the hole was 90
meters and nobody else hit the green).
Worth mentioning that is that Lars hit the ball with a wedge from the 10th tee (he thought
he had the driver).
Late in the morning The Little (Lennart Larsson) made a bet with Michael, the hotel owner.
If he could score under 80 on the new course of Ballybunion he would have free beer all
night on Friday. Otherwise Michael would have his T-shirt.
Michael now has a new T-shirt (The Littles best T-shirt, worth 900 SEK).

On the Saturday we played the best parkland course that we have
ever seen (at least the ones of us who have not been to Spain) and it was Killeen (on the
Killarney Club).
Thomas Mad Dog and Ingvar showed up in a bad shape after a heavy night in the hotel bar.
Strange enough Ingvar played excellent all day and advanced to second place.
Mad Dog had 1 point on the last 9 holes.
Erika Lindstom is now a member of the Killarney Golf Club (and she is also the youngest
member of Kittys Kaboodle).
In the afternoon the 2 rookies (Peter and Patrik) played against a father and son (Ingvar
and Little). The score turned out to be 14-0 to the father and son.
In the evening we got really drunk and wanted to go out dancing. We ordered a taxi at
01.00 but they told us that all the dancing places close at 12.30. So we had to spend
another night in the Hotel Bar (as if we would mind). We had putting competitions and
drunk Irish Coffee all night.

Today we went to Ceann Sibeal near Dingle. It was a Links course
less spectacular than Ballybunion but still very nice.
Ingvar complained about the worms that caught his balls on the 2nd green. We did not ask
for details. The little stream on the course was very thirsty and it was in play on
11 holes.

Some quotes:
I don't like plying on these courses. I prefer real golf like on the spanish parkland courses (Little about Links Courses).
This is what golf is all about. One week on Ireland, the next week in the snow on the chip and put of Ågesta, and the third in Thailand amongst the palm trees. (Patrik after returning to Sweden).
Ingvar, can I buy this t-shirt (Anders asks the cloth taste committee about the colors of his purchase).
And on the 10th we have a nearest to the green (Ingvar about the nearest to the pin, and nobody actually did hit the green).
Only concentrate on not being in anybodys way (Bo gives Roger some advice before the first tee off).
I am happy with my game (Anders after having 18 points on Ceann Cibeal).
This looks like the Chip and Put of Ågesta (Little when he saw Ballybunion).
What do you want to work with after I have bought your hotel (Little to Mike, the Hotel owner).
