Atlanta 1999

In the spring of 1999 I went to Atlanta, Georgia for a week. My friend Gail took it upon herself to guide me around the town and countryside. She also taught me the ways, rituals and customs of the land and its people, like the fascinating concept of "free refills".
Apart from shopping in used record stores and eating in fast food restaurants we found the time to take in a basketball game, buy gasoline at unbelievable prices and listen to some embarrassing songs I had made in my youth on my Amiga computer.
Alas, all good things must come to an end. After a week of beautiful spring weather like this I had to go back to weather like this. Gail has pointed out that I wouldn't hack Atlanta summers and she's probably right, she is very wise.
