Weissenbühl Bern 1 8 0 0 8 5- 52 0 1897/98 was an unofficial championship. 1901/02: 4 games unplayed in the Central group. 1902/03: 4 games unplayed in Group East. Also, Fortuna Basel were disqualified, after having played 5 games in the Central group, after some incidents after the home game against Old Boys Basel. The five games are counted here as they were that in the official table. 1903/04: International Zürich withdrew from the Group East before the season. The season is not counted in their totals, as they didn't play any games. 1906/07: One game, between FC Zürich and Blue Stars St Gallen, was unplayed in the East group. 1909/10: Grasshopper Club Zürich played only the first round of matches in the East group. 1912/13: The game FC Aarau - Montriond Lausanne (original score 5-4) was replayed following a protest from the latter. The original game was stricken from the record. 1914/15: The semifinal between FC Aarau and Brühl St. Gallen which ended 3-2, was replayed following a protest from Brühl. The latter subsequently won the replay 8-1 (which is the result counted in the table, as the original match was declared null and void following the protest). 1917/18: FC Baden a) withdrew before start or b) played games that for some reason were declared null and void. It's unclear what is the state of affairs. 1918/19: 14 games were unplayed in the West group. 1922/23: In the Central group: FC Basel - FC Bern (original score 0-4) was awarded 3-0 as Bern used an ineligible player. Likewise, the game FC Biel vs. FC Bern (original score 3-0) was awarded 0-3 as Biel used an ineligible player. Young Boys Bern (the winner of the Central group) withdrew from the playoff match against FC Bern after they had won the Central group on equal points, which meant that FC Bern were allowed to participate in the finals as winner of the Central group. The altered scores above changed the final table of the Central group so that Young Boys was the sole winner. But by then the championship finals had already been played and there was no time to stage a new championship final, subsequently no Swiss champion was declared this season. 1930/31: 45 games unplayed in all the groups (15 each in West, Central and East respectively). 1931/32 & 1932/33: During these seasons the 2nd level champions were allowed to participate in the 1st level championship playoffs. Lausanne- Sports actually won the championship 1931/32 when at 2nd level! 1983/84: The championship playoff game between Grasshoppers and Servette is counted in the tables. 1995/96: Three points for a win was introduced. * = 2002/03: FC Luzern had two points deducted for irregularities in license application. ** = 2004/05: Servette had three points deducted for financial irregularities. They went bankrupt during the winter break and did not play the 2nd half of the season. However, the 18 games they did play were counted in the official table. *** = 2011/12: Neuchatel Xamax were relegated to 5th level due to bankruptcy. Their 1st round of matches were counted but the 2nd round games were cancelled. **** = 2011/12: Sion were deducted 36 points for fielding ineligible players.
