Flemish Waeving

Mostly my aquarelles are the basis for my weaving patterns. The patterns follow the brushwork of my paintings and the weaving technique is shadings (also called Gobelin Tapestry, hachures or Flemish weaving) a technique that makes the weaves very vivid.

My weaving sets is quite popular and have found many customers in Sweden, Finland, Norway, the USA and Japan.	No 101 DANDELIONS (Försommarfröjd) 30 x 33 cm, furnishing fabric in 100% pure new wool, moth-proof. To be woven with two threads to be mixed. The weaving technique is shadings (also called Gobelin tapestry or hachures), which is a simple connecting technique, when you have learnt it - the special technique I like to use in my weaves, and which follows the brush-work of my paintings. The fabric is a 1-thread long lasting, furnishing fabric in 100% pure, mothproof wool. Some of the weaves also have inlaid threads of an exclusive, looped wool/mohair yarn and a 2-thread linen yarn.
The material set contains yarn in knots, measured in fitting length for weaving, detailed pattern with numbers of the different color combinations, corresponding to numbers of the enclosed yarn-chart (the color-swatch) and weaving guidance.
