My programming experiences

I've learned pascal and java in school. I found pascal boring and that it wasn't really good since it don't work on newer computers unpatched.
Java on the other hand were something that I found interesting and fun. Some people say that it's the programming language of the feuture and I agree, the porting is really simple since the program works on any java plattform if you don't call any plattform dependent things.

Applets are also a fun thing but they are too slow to execute and the java plugin that are required tend to be outdated if you haven't installed a newer version.
