The lake Tjörnarpssjön has a natural stock of pike, perch, roach and other fishes. The steady rowing boat is very suitable for fishing. Angling permits for the lake can be bought in the village. Several other lakes and ponds for fishing are found in a distance of 10-15 miles.

In the house there is a collection of maps and booklets which the guests can use for planning trips to places of interest.

The old restored brickyard oven.
A large iron age grave field, about 3 miles away to the northeast.
A large animal park with Scandinavian wildlife, Skånes djurpark, about 9 miles to the southwest.

About 9 miles to the south is the old castle Bosjökloster with a beautiful park, exhibitions, restaurant and much more. About 12 miles to the north is another old caste, Hovdala.

Everybody, who is interested in Ecology should visit the Kristianstad Kingdom of Water with bird watching towers, plank paths and much information.

Skåne has many golf courses, also in the vicinity of Tjörnarp.
About 9 miles to the south is Bosjökloster's golf course.
Skyrup's golf course and Hässlegården's golf course are about 12-15 miles to the north.

In a full day trip it is also possible to reach the "Glass Kingdom of Småland" (Kosta-Boda, Orrefors and other works).
