The farm.

The farm consists of forests with fields around the houses. Sheep grass on the pastures nearby. it is no more an active agricultural farm. But the forests are wide and productive and the old farmbuildings are still there.
The lake Tjörnarpssjön is about 1/4 mile away and can be used for swimming, angling and rowing.
Banks and supermarkets are found 4 miles north or 6 miles south of Tjörnarp.

An old farm

The family has lived on this farm since the year 1696. The present farmer is of the ninth generation. The main building and a barn were built about 1880. The stables are presumably older. At one end of the barn an apartment was established in about 1893 for the present farmer´s great grandmother. In 1993-94 this apartment was repaired in a very reverential way. It has now modern facilities and is rented out as a vacation apartment.
