I have some news about Beta 3. The first thing is that the new "nibbles engine" worked very well. The testers of Pre Release 1 were very satisfied. The second thing is that I don't really know any release date for Beta 3 because I'm still thinking of how many new features there will be. But keep visiting this site and you'll never miss any news.

Requests about Pre Release 1 are coming to my mail and of course they get back the complete installation instruction. I think that after I've got the feedback then I'm going to research the game by myself and start to fix the bugs and improve the game. One thing that is good for Nibbles is that I have one week left in school and then the summer holidays begin.

As you can see so is there again a new layout at NibblesGame.com and as usually I think this one is better than the old one. Now to the Nibbles talk. The Pre Release 1 is now available. This version is a pre version to Beta 3 and not the complete version. In this Pre Release I decided to deactivate some functions like the music and some ingame stuff. The new thing is the new gfx in the menu and of course the new worked-out "nibbles-engine", which is much better than the last one. If you want to try it out then you've got to have the latest version (Beta 2.3.0) and also you have to contact me and I'll give you installation instruction and password. Look in the new contact session for my e-mail.

At last the 10.000 limit is reached. As you can see over 10.000 people has downloaded Nibbles.

While I am fixing Visual Studio I also decided to update the layout on the homepage. I think this one looks better. Don't you?
I have to remind you to join the newsletter there you can get the latest info about Nibblesgame.com and Nibbles (no spam). Of course I don't give your e-mail address to a third part so you can just be cool about that.
If we're talking Nibbles. I can say that the new functions are working pretty good. But there are still some stuff to fix.

A forum has been added where you can talk about anything from Nibbles to what ever you want. I also want to say that a new layout on the homepage is being made and it will surely come to the release of the Beta 3.

I have added a new voting both because on the old one you couldn't check the result without voting. But now you can and I hope you will vote.

The latest time I have been changing my operating system, fix my old test computer, change mouse and I have also been skiing. I started with changing operating system from Windows 98 to Windows 2000 Professional. This meant that I had to reinstall almost all programs to make them work. Of course Visual Studio worked in the beginning but when I reinstalled it, I couldn't compile Nibbles or any other programs to see if the new functions worked. I haven't fixed it yet but I will fix it soon.
At the same time I changed the processor on my test computer from a 75 MHz to a 166 MHz and I also added some memory. When the processor worked then the harddrive stoped working and there I am now. I can't install any operating system because of many error messages that haven't occur before when I have installed a operating system on it.
The last thing I did was to change my mouse from a Logitech scroll mouse to... actually I'm still testing two mice. One is a Logitech Cordless Wheel Mouse and the other is a Logitech MouseMan+. I don't know yet which mouse I should use.

Now back to the real stuff, Nibbles. The menu is fixed, I'm looking for some good MIDI songs and I'm also still working on the "Nibbles engine". But just wait and the new version will be out in a short while.
